About Me
Hey there!
My name is Payton Keo Lacebal and I am a LA-based Story and Visual Development Artist originally from San Jose, California.
I am a graduate of UCLA (Class of 2021) where I studied Theater Design and minored in Film and Television.
I have been developing and exploring my passion for the art of storytelling since high school where I designed a variety of theatrical productions including Of Mice and Men and Peter and the Starcatcher.
My time in high school theater opened the door to more artistic opportunities at UCLA, where I had the pleasure to design Once on this Island, Camp Song, a student-written original musical, and Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida, one of UCLA's Mainstage Productions.
I have always been drawn the magic of animation and cinema, especially its unique ability transcend divides, inspiring those from all different backgrounds, identities and age groups. After several years immersed in the theater, I have decided that I want to explore my passion for storytelling within the Animated medium.
I look forward to providing my skills and passion towards your projects as a Digital Artist!
